Yes. We make sure the site is left clean and tidy, and we also take away accumulated rubbish.

What about stall location. Are you able to avoid shop fronts etc?

Our Farmers Markets are never a disruption to other shopkeepers or establishments, in fact the added footfall created by the Markets often increases the attention on local shops and businesses. We always avoid setting up in front of adjoining walls, ensure we set up away from street furniture and telephone boxes etc, and ensure doorways to shops are always clear for access.

What about our local businesses... can you liaise with local shops etc?

Answer:

Yes. We make sure local business and shopkeepers are kept informed, and have a direct point of contact should they have any reason to need to make contact with us.

Are vehicles allowed onsite when the Farmers Market is underway?

No. We don’t allow vehicles to drive onsite between the hours of 9am and 2pm unless it is an Emergency Vehicle such as Police, Ambulance, Fire or Local Authority vehicle on call.

How do late comers arrange to get their products and goods to their stall holding?

The ‘No Driving On-site’ rule still applies. Stall holders arriving late for the event need to trolley their goods and products to a secure location near their stall holding.
